A forty-minute walkthrough takes Labshock from an empty home lab to a running SCADA system, then works through the PLCs, the engineering workstation, the IDS and the offensive tooling.
EventsLabshock Runs Hands-On OT Labs at DEF CON in the ICS Village
Attendees operated real industrial systems rather than watching them described, working through defence scenarios on running plant instead of on slides.
EventsNVISO Publishes a Refinery Attack Walkthrough Built on Labshock
Part two of NVISO's operational technology series stands up a virtual oil plant, finds the PLC, reads its Modbus registers and then scripts the write that moves the pumps.
EventsModbus Workshop Runs an Oil Pumping Station Inside Labshock
Attendees configured SCADA and PLC systems, issued Modbus commands against a simulated oil pumping station, then read their own traffic back and found the unauthorised access in it.

Company facts
Boilerplate
Labshock Security LLC builds hands-on OT/ICS cybersecurity environments where industrial control systems can be operated, tested and defended safely. The platform runs real SCADA interfaces, real PLC runtimes and genuine industrial protocols — Modbus TCP, Siemens S7comm, DNP3 and IEC 60870-5-104 — in isolated environments used for security training, authorised penetration testing and detection validation. Part of Labshock is open source at github.com/zakharb/labshock, and the platform is used by security teams, universities and training providers internationally.
