Labshock Partners With Y Cyber on Operational OT Security
The Italian OT specialist brings industrial operations and incident response; Labshock brings the environment to test them in. Together the loop closes: test, detect, validate, improve.
May 12, 2026 — Labshock has entered a partnership with Y Cyber, an Italy-based OT cybersecurity company and part of the HWG Sababa group.
Y Cyber works only on OT security, serving industrial operators, suppliers and critical infrastructure. Its practice combines governance, protection and intelligence, supported by one of the few dedicated OT SOC and CERT capabilities in Europe — an operational capability rather than an advisory one.
The partnership rests on a single shared position: security controls in industrial environments are routinely deployed and rarely validated under real operating conditions, which leaves a gap between what a control is expected to do and what it does.
The two halves fit that gap directly. Labshock supplies the environment in which a control can be exercised safely; Y Cyber supplies the industrial operations and response practice that says whether the result means anything. Run together they form a continuous loop — test, detect, validate, improve.
Y Cyber and HWG Sababa also build environments on Labshock for their own use, including a GE Mark VIe gas turbine model used to demonstrate their products against the control systems their customers actually run.
