Labshock Releases Builder: Generate Full IT, DMZ and OT Environments on Demand
Users can generate full industrial environments across IT, DMZ and OT layers with automated routing, alongside the Gasflow Terminal turbine lab and portable lab deployment.

April 19, 2026 — Labshock has released version 2.2.5, introducing dynamic environment generation, centralised control and portable OT infrastructure deployment.
The Labshock Builder allows full industrial environments to be created across IT, DMZ and OT layers, with automated routing and service configuration. Environments stop being fixed exercises and become something a user defines.
The release is anchored by the Gasflow Terminal lab, a complex simulation inspired by gas turbine systems with multiple PLCs, HMIs, routers and SCADA integration, modelling process control at scale. It simulates combustion, turbine control and fuel regulation through PLC-driven logic, which supports analysis of process-level exposure and visibility gaps.
Portable lab deployment allows environments to be moved and reproduced rather than rebuilt, which matters for teaching: the environment a student breaks should be the same one their instructor built.
Builder arrived in v2.2.5 and turned the environment from a fixed exercise into something a user defines.
