Labshock and ICE Announce a Free Hands-On Modbus OT SIEM Workshop
An hour of Modbus protocol security run live in simulated industrial environments, delivered with the Institute of Cybersecurity Excellence and open to attend at no cost.
July 1, 2025 — Labshock and the Institute of Cybersecurity Excellence announced a free hands-on workshop on Modbus protocol security, part of the OT SIEM Leveling Guide series and delivered online.
The session ran on Saturday 12 July 2025, 18:00 to 19:00 UAE time, with Labshock chief executive Zakhar Bernhardt presenting.
The format was practical rather than lecture-based: Modbus protocol security worked through directly, with live demonstration inside simulated OT environments rather than slides describing them. Attendees received a certificate of participation and access to the training materials.
The workshop was aimed at OT security professionals, ICS engineers and industrial cybersecurity teams. Seats were limited and allocated first come, first served.
The Institute of Cybersecurity Excellence works on applied security education, training and research, and is listed under academia in the Labshock ecosystem.
