ICS Arabia Podcast Devotes an Episode to Labshock
Episode 51 puts the platform in front of the podcast's audience as a free and open OT testbed — no hardware required, and on the host's framing, no excuses left.
June 20, 2025 — The ICS Arabia Podcast has devoted episode 51 to Labshock, presenting it to its audience as a free and open OT testbed for gaining hands-on experience in ICS and OT cybersecurity.
The episode's argument is about access. A testbed that needs no hardware removes the barrier that keeps most people out of industrial security — not interest, and not ability, but the cost and space of a plant to practise on. The host puts it as no hardware required and no excuses.
The podcast is hosted by Dr Sulaiman Alhasawi, founder of ZeronTek and of the OSINT tool ICSrank, who holds a doctorate in ICS cybersecurity.
Alhasawi went on to teach his Hands-On OT Security Course for Beginners on the platform in August 2025, and ICS Arabia is listed as a partner in the Labshock ecosystem.
