Labshock Reaches Europe at BSides Aarhus, Its Second BSides
Michael Weng of SektorCERT introduced the platform to the European community with a live OT attack simulation, and the organisers listed it in the official programme as a tool for OT and ICS learning.

June 19, 2025 — Labshock was used on stage at BSides Aarhus 2025, its second appearance at a BSides conference and its first in Europe.
Michael Weng of SektorCERT led the session, introducing the platform to the European community. The talk ran a live OT attack simulation, which opened a wider discussion about industrial cyber defence — the kind of discussion that is difficult to have around a diagram and straightforward to have around a system that is running.
The BSides Aarhus organisers gave Labshock a place in the official programme, describing it as a tool to reach for when learning OT and ICS.
The platform was used in demonstration, in the talks themselves, and in hands-on testing once the event had wrapped up. As in São Paulo a month earlier, it arrived through somebody who already used it rather than through a vendor presence.
Labshock thanks Michael Weng and the BSides Aarhus organisers for making room for industrial cybersecurity content.
