Labshock Releases Network Swiftness: Packet-Level Visibility Into Industrial Traffic
Real-time inspection of OT and ICS traffic inside the platform, with connection tracking and early integration patterns for Zeek and Suricata.

February 17, 2025 — Labshock has released Network Swiftness, adding full industrial network visibility to the platform and enabling real-time inspection of OT and ICS traffic without external tooling.
Communication between SCADA systems, PLCs and field devices can now be observed directly inside the platform, which makes it possible to correlate industrial process behaviour with the network activity underneath it. Packet-level inspection shows how control commands and telemetry actually move through an industrial control system.
The release introduces connection tracking and deep visibility for OT protocols, together with early integration patterns for intrusion detection tools including Zeek and Suricata. Industrial traffic can be analysed and validated against detection rules in a controlled setting.
That validation step is the part that is normally missing. A detection rule written against a specification is a hypothesis until traffic from a running process is put in front of it.
Network Swiftness arrived in v1.3 and is the foundation the platform detection work is built on, from the first SIEM integration through to the free Zeek and Suricata labs.
