Labshock Releases the Pentest Station: Reconnaissance and Testing Against Simulated SCADA

January 28, 2025 — Labshock has introduced the Pentest Station, extending the platform beyond industrial engineering into active security testing.

Built on a Kali Linux stack, it supports structured reconnaissance and threat simulation against realistic SCADA and PLC environments. The point of the isolation is practical: industrial testing that would be unacceptable against a live plant is routine here.

Inside the simulated OT network, users can discover exposed PLCs, enumerate industrial services and interact with protocols such as Modbus. Early testing workflows focus on visibility into industrial communication paths and on controlled manipulation of control logic.

The release completes the initial Labshock security model. Engineering, visibility and security testing now exist in one ecosystem, which means a change made in one can be observed in the others.

The Pentest Station arrived in v1.2 and became the basis for Pentest Fury, the full testing framework that followed.
