October 8, 2025The Labshock workshop at BSides Mulhouse 2025 has been delivered. Ndeye Adama Drame led it under the title Deep Dive into LabShock, listed at 09:50 on the conference workshop programme.

The session ran two hours and took Modbus from theory through to practice, compressing material that normally takes weeks. Participants worked through industrial architectures and through OT attack and response scenarios, in a room mixing IT people, OT people and ethical hackers — an audience split that is common at security conferences and rare in industrial ones.

Drame described the day as much a human experience as a technical one, and credited the event with the thing that makes these sessions work: the technical subject brings people together, teaching raises the level, and the community is what grows from it.

The workshop was hosted by BSides Mulhouse with Capitale Dev, and organised by Jules Bozouklian.

This was the first Labshock workshop in France, following the platform's use at BSides Sao Paulo and BSides Aarhus earlier in 2025. French-language hands-on OT security material is planned to follow.
