Labshock Drives Real Hardware for the First Time, at HOU.SEC.CON
In the GuidePoint Security booth, an E-Stop button, a stack light and a temperature sensor were wired to the platform — the first time a Labshock environment controlled physical equipment rather than a simulated process.

October 3, 2025 — Labshock ran as a live demonstration at HOU.SEC.CON 2025, hosted in the GuidePoint Security booth, and did something it had not done before: it drove real hardware.
Physical equipment was wired to the environment and behaved as part of the process. Pressing an E-Stop triggered a pump bypass. A stack light changed state along with the process it reported on. A temperature sensor fed live readings into the display.
Until then every Labshock process had been a faithful simulation — real SCADA, real PLC runtimes, real protocol traffic, but a modelled plant at the end of it. Connecting the last few metres to physical devices closes that gap, and it changes what a visitor takes away. A packet that stops a pump is an argument. A button that stops a pump is not one.
