Labshock Presented to the ISC2 West Midlands Chapter
Anwar Khan took the platform to a chapter meetup at BT's Birmingham office, presenting what it offers a security community that mostly works outside industrial environments.
September 30, 2025 — Labshock was presented to the ISC2 West Midlands Chapter at a face-to-face meetup hosted at BT's Birmingham office.
Anwar Khan, a vCISO and security architect, hosted the evening and presented what the platform offers the wider OT cyber community. The chapter's membership is largely enterprise security rather than industrial, which makes it a useful room: the gap between knowing that OT security is different and having seen why is exactly what a running plant closes.
The meetup also covered zero trust fundamentals, enterprise security architecture and the balance between risk and trust.
As with most of the platform's appearances, this one came from a practitioner choosing to show it rather than from any arrangement with Labshock.
