The Labshock Mark Is a Hard Hat, Not a Padlock
PPE is the first control on any plant floor, before a procedure and before a policy. Patches and stickers are going into production, and the zone patches have to be earned rather than bought.

The Labshock mark is not a shield. Not a lock. Not a padlock on a circuit board.
It is a hard hat and safety goggles.
Why a Hard Hat
In a plant you do not reach the floor without PPE. Hard hat, goggles, boots.
That is the first safety control — before any procedure, before any policy, before anybody writes a document about it. And it is physical. You can hold it. You feel it on your head.
OT security works the same way. A digital action, a physical consequence. So the mark is PPE, for people who work on the digital floor.
Design Is Not Decoration
For a long time people told me to ship the product and let design come later.
But design is what a person meets before they read a single line of your documentation.
A young IT engineer looks at OT and sees grey screenshots, a PDF from 2009, and a conference photo where everybody is fifty-five. Then they go back to cloud and containers, and the field stays short of the people it needs.
That is not an OT problem. It is a design problem, and a design problem is one we can actually fix.
